Now I am digging in for little bit!!įirst here is details for the USB stick, inserted in a pc connected with ethernet cable and the USB stick as well. In the last few days when away from home I tried to connect one of my Toshiba A11 laptop/transportables running linux to a network and again the 'link beat not detected' Fair bit of head scratching. Too me all seems to work but for some timeout which I think is caused by 'link beat not detected' Then I stumbled over some information and I went back and had look. I bought a USB wifi adapter which was supposed to work in linux, sent it to a relative and got the message back that it did not work. I have collected and recorded much information and can no longer think straight.
